Dagens plateanmeldelser (23 april)

Jeg har tre plateanmeldelser i Bergens Tidene i dag: Dans les arbres, Dans les arbres (ECM) (les anmeldelsen her), Jazkamer, Art Breaker (Smalltown Superjazzz) (her), og Nicholas Payton, Into the Blue (Nonesuch) (her).

1. Art is magic delivered from the lie of being truth 2. Pure phenomenology is the science of pure consciousness 3. The focus of subjectivity is a distorting mirror 4. Nothing can have value without being an object of utility 5. The great tragedy of science 6. Domination delegates the physical violence on which it rests to the dominated 7. Dreaming in public 8. By virtue of consciousness 9. Absolute power corrupts absolutely 10. The original is unfaithful to the translation 11. The Evidence of One’s Senses, The One-Stroke Method 12. Two Dogmas of empiricism 13. World as Will and Representation 14. The Appeal to the Given 15. Stripped of ethical rationalizations and philosophical pretensions 16. Change alone is eternal, perpetual, immoral 17. Emotion Re-presented, Distilled 18. The Total Imaginative Experience 19. Work and Truth, Two Conceptions of the Future 20. To die for a religion is easier than to live it absolutely 21. Only the hand that erases can write the true thing 22. Democracy is an abuse of statistics 23. Life has become the ideology of its own absence 24. Every work of art is an uncommitted crime 25. Locomotives of history 26. Intelligence is a moral category 27. Normality is death 28. The whole is the false 29. The gods look in pleasure on penitent sinners 30. The web of domination has become the web of reason itself 31. Life itself is a quotation 32. Necessity is blind until it becomes conscious 33. Everybody dances with the grim reaper 34. Reality is not always probably, or likely 35. The slaying of a beautiful hypothesis by an ugly fact 36. No emancipation without that of society 37. Is the circularity vicious? 38. Speaking with the vulgar 39. New riddle of induction 40. The presence of relevant falsehood 41. Probability as certainty 42. Transcendence constitutes selfhood 43. Useful as a form of employment for economists 44. Physical evils are beacon lights to warn us from vice 45. Out magic delivered from Vulgar 46. Absurdness is the essential concept and the first truth 47. The view only changes for the lead dog 48. Weakness, Re-processed, Vicious 49. Sold by the unprincipled of utterly bewildered 50. Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower 51. The cry of men in face of their destiny 52. All currency is neurotic currency 53. Finally the sacrifices are brought to completion 54. To depend on the presence of the crowd is weakness 55. Real progress lies in learning to be wrong 56. No fate that cannot be surmounted by scorn 57. Out of discord comes the fairest harmony 58. Art breaker

1. Theodor W Adorno 2. Edmund Husserl 3. Hans-Georg Gadamer 4. Karl Marx 5. Thomas Huxley 6. Adorno 7. William Gibson og/eller Peter Strickland 8. Husserl 9. John Emerich Edward Dalberg Acton 10. Jorge Luis Borges 11. ?? 12. W. V. O. Quine 13. Arthur Schopenhauer 14. ?? 15. Freda Adler 16. Schopenhauer 17. ?? 18. Robert George Collingwood 19. Martin Heidegger + ?? 20. Borges 21. Meister Eckhart 22. Borges 23. Adorno 24. Adorno 25. Marx 26. Adorno 27. Adorno 28. Adorno 29. Adorno 30. Herbert Marcuse 31. Borges 32. Marx 33. Robert Alton Harris 34. Borges 35. Thomas Huxley 36. Adorno 37. ?? 38. George Berkeley + ?? 39. Nelson Goodman 40. ?? 41. ?? 42. Heidegger 43. John Kenneth Galbraith 44. Francis Bowen 45. ?? 46. Albert Camus 47. Norman O. Brown 48. ?? 49. Camus 50. Camus 51. Camus 52. Norbert O. Brown 53. ?? 54. Paul Brunton 55. Camus 56. Camus 47. Heraklit 58. ??

53: “And the men who stand [before] the altar invoke your [name], [39] and in all the deeds of their deficiency, the sacrifices are brought to completion […].”
Fra: The Gospel of Judas , muligens? http://www.ngeo.com/lostgospel/_pdf/GospelofJudas.pdf

  2. Erik Steinskog Says:

Så takk, one more, ten to go.
